Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Tour
Optional Member Outing
Sunday, February 18, 2007
$165 per person
(price includes continental breakfast)
Explore the Sonoran Desert from the basket of a hot air balloon! Our
own unique journey will be guided by the winds and skills of our
pilot. At highest flight levels we will experience the panorama of
the desert and mountain terrain stretching out for 100 miles in all
directions. Changing altitude brings different wind currents used to
“steer” the balloon. We’ll float close to the ground to skim over
the unique plant life such as the giant Saguaro Cactus and Palo
Verde Trees. We may see coyotes, jack rabbits, desert mule deer, and
even javelinas…animals that are normally too shy to let you approach
when you are walking on the ground. After our flight we’ll enjoy a
champagne celebration and continental breakfast along with
presentation of first flight certificates.

and activities of Taliesin Fellowship community life. In addition we

Golf Tournament
Tuesday, February 20, 2007
$285 per person
(price includes greens fees, cart,
boxed lunch, beverages, and prizes. Club & shoe rentals additional)
FPPA will host a scramble golf tournament at the Grayhawk Golf Club.
From the moment Grayhawk Golf Club opened in 1994, it soared to the
top of Arizona’s must play list on the wings of the Gary Panks and
David Graham-designed Talon course. Its esteemed counterpart, the
Raptor course, designed by Tom Fazio opened a year later. Since
then, both courses have set the standard with excellent guest
service, immaculate conditions and fabulous facilities. In October
2007 the course will be a stop on the PGA Tour’s Fall Series with
the Fry’s Electronics Open.
