FPPA Elects New Board

Bel Air, MD — The Flexographic Pre-Press Platemakers Association (FPPA) proudly introduces its newly elected president and board of directors for 2011.

Carlton Boon, V.T. Graphics of Yeadon, Pennsylvania will be leading FPPA as president. Boon's term as president comes on the heels of a successful convention in Tucson, Arizona.

Supporting Boon is a strong cabinet of officers including Immediate Past President, Greg Hauber, CSW, Inc.; President-Elect, Ron Moles, Southern Graphics Systems; Treasurer, Sam Merenda, Graphics 2 Press; and Secretary, Ken Ricks, Mark/Trece, Inc. Graphic Systems. Jeff Mosely, Container Graphics; Pat Sullivan, Dynamic Dies; Joe Anderson, Anderson Vreeland; and Ian Hole, EskoArtworks are also serving on the 2011 Board.

During his acceptance speech, Boon encouraged members to get involved in the Association by volunteering on its committees. Boon highlighted the strong programs that FPPA has planned for the coming year, including an expanded presence on the Internet through an updated website, webinar sessions and discussion boards on social networking sites.

The purpose of the Flexographic Pre-Press Platemakers Association is to foster, promote, improve and enhance high standards of efficiency and cooperation within the flexographic pre-press platemaking industry.
