Volunteers Needed to Complete FPPA's 2005 Vision

FPPA’s success over the years is due in large part to the volunteerism of the members. Each member has a talent to share, and the association has several different committees where we can use your talents. Most committee activity occurs via conference call and email exchange, with no additional travel or time commitment.

Now is your opportunity to help shape the future of FPPA by becoming a committee volunteer. Committees include:

Awards - Propose, develop and administer awards to be presented by the FPPA. This will include establishing entrance guidelines and rules, the selection of judges, the establishment of criteria, standards and procedures for judging entries, and the form and method of presentation of the awards.                                       

Management Development - Assess the needs for resources, education, and information which will help members to manage their companies more effectively. Propose, develop and administer programs which will make these available to members. This committee is responsible for the development and execution of the Fall Management Workshop.

Marketing - Propose, develop and administer a program to market the services and benefits offered by the FPPA to existing and potential members in the flexo platemaking community. Contribute articles to the FPPA quarterly newsletter, On Target.

Membership – This committee is responsible for developing programs to increase membership through new member recruitment and to retain current members by offering innovative programs and opportunities. Review applications for membership per criteria established in association by-laws prior to final vote of the Board of Directors.

Surveys/Statistics - Assess members’ needs for flexo industry statistics. Propose statistical research projects. Obtain, analyze, compile and publish statistical research.

Technology - Assess the current and future technological needs of members and obtain and distribute information to members which will allow them to make well informed decisions regarding the investment in and use of the flexographic platemaking and allied technologies.
