MacDermid Printing Solutions Adds Digital Imagers to Portfolio through Agreement with Kodak

MacDermid Printing Solutions announced today that it has reached
a worldwide distribution agreement with Eastman Kodak. As part of the agreement, Kodak will promote MacDermid's digital products. Specifically, MacDermid has granted Kodak global distribution
rights for its printing plates. This agreement is effective immediately in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Digital continues to be a strong growth area in the flexographic industry. The partnership between MacDermid and Kodak will allow their customers to more easily access digital technology. Customers will have the ability to work with either MacDermid or Kodak as their vendor for both plates and imagers. As such, customers will now have access to a complete digital solution including workflow, proofing, imaging and plates.

“Our flexographic printing plates have enjoyed much success in North America and Europe helping package printers improve quality, reduce turnaround time and exceed customer expectations,” said Daniel H. Leever, Chief Executive Officer of MacDermid. “This agreement with Kodak is important to MacDermid because it expands our reach and ability to help packaging customers around the world.”
